I finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching History at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2010. I also have endorsements in teaching ELL and Middle School students. After graduation, I decided to relocate to South Korea, where I was able to grow both professionally and personally while working and living in a foreign country.
After returning to the United States, I worked briefly with ELL students with ACCESS testing at UNO Charter Schools. Shortly after, I became employed as a teacher at Morton District 201. Since 2014, I have taught US History, World History, Psychology, and TSI. In addition, I co-sponsored the Junior Statesmen of America for 3 years, where I traveled with students across the Midwest and to Washington D.C. to debate other students from across the nation. In 2020, I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology.
When not working, I enjoy listening to music, cooking, and playing retro video games.
